Rates: $400/night — includes lodging, meals, and dining
Deposit: $1,000 non-refundable deposit required for hunts and lodge rentals (activities may carry additional fees)
Soggy Bottom Lodge
Crafted with heart and history, the Original Soggy Bottom Lodge was built by Cliff Turnipseed of Turnipseed Construction in Aliceville, AL. Every detail tells a story — from cabinets fashioned from vintage Coke containers to wood and tin salvaged from an old barn. The wraparound porch welcomes guests with room to relax, connect, and take in the Alabama outdoors.
Inside, rustic character meets modern comfort. With space to sleep up to 18 guests, the lodge is perfect for family reunions, hunting parties, or corporate groups. Amenities include:
- WiFi, Satellite TV, and surround sound
- A large dining room table seating 14
- Outdoor dining for 30–40 guests under a well-lit porch roof
- Grills and a full outdoor kitchen
- Expansive porch seating for evenings under the stars
Shack 33
Shack 33 is more than a lodge — it’s a masterpiece. Built with reclaimed and historic materials, it carries a story as rich as its surroundings: wood from the basement of the World Trade Center, massive beams once used to load the Liberty Battleship unearthed from Mobile Bay, and exterior walls crafted from formed cement logs. The result is a one-of-a-kind retreat blending strength, character, and style.
With a wraparound porch that seats 75+, a private hibachi grill, and sweeping views of the Alabama countryside, Shack 33 is ideal for weddings, large events, or couples looking for an extraordinary escape. Every corner is designed to impress, from the architecture to the atmosphere.
