Brandy Lewis Chambless
Event Coordinator/Guide
Brandy is a graduate of Shelton State Community College. She earned her cosmetology degree in 2004 and later went back to receive a degree in medical coding in 2017 from Herzing University.
Brandy has enjoyed the outdoors since being introduced by her daddy at a young age. Growing up on a farm with her parents and 3 sisters, they quickly learned about the “great outdoors”. She enjoys hunting, fishing, and just being outside. She has 3 sisters that are nurse practioners and a brother that is a teacher at DHS, funny thing is she can’t stand human blood without passing out, so that route wasn’t for her. When it comes to skinning a deer and cleaning birds, she’s all for it.
Brandy started working at Soggy Bottom Lodge in March 2016, and she absolutely loves it. She is the event coordinator and the number 1 guide at everything!! Turkey hunting is her absolute favorite!
Brandy is married to Matt Chambless and has one son, and a daughter. Briar Gage, and Breitung!
“Soggy Bottom Lodge is such a beautiful place. The staff is my family! I just fell in love. It is my home away from home, literally… haha”
Do you even have to ask?? WAR EAGLE BABY
Brandon Smith
General Manager/ Guide
Brandon started deer hunting at an early age like most of us in the south. He REALLY started hunting around the age of 10 when he was introduced to turkey and duck hunting by his step-father Paul. Deer hunting was a way for him to get in the outdoors but there was something about that distant gobble in a hardwood bottom that sparked a fire. This is a fire that still leaves us wondering what time he’ll show up to work most mornings in the spring!
Outside of the outdoors Brandon’s proudest achievement is raising two kids in the world we live in today! He says, “It is not an easy task and the lines are blurred but I am able to trust in One that is bigger than ALL the “stuff” that is around us! I enjoy working outdoors in God’s creation on a daily basis and striving to be more like Christ every day. Most days I fail miserably but that’s what is so great. He gives us grace and mercy. Trying to instill that truth in my kids is what I am proudest of.”
Brandon is married to Kelley and they have two children, Camilla and Crosby. Brandon’s hobbies include: boat rides with kids, duck and turkey hunting (or turkey missing), Sunday drives with the family, volunteering at Fairhaven Baptist Church, Kairos Prison Ministries.
“We are blessed to have the opportunity to do this…thanks for checking us out and trusting us with your hunt of a lifetime.” ROLL TIDE
Holston Drinkard

Holston was introduced to the outdoors at a early age. Holston is the deer breeder at Soggy Bottom Lodge. We would tell you what she likes to do in her free time, but she really doesn’t have any.
Holston is a native of Linden, Alabama. She loves when the fawns start dropping in the breeding facility, but then its all work and no play. You can find Holston rooting for Auburn on Saturdays.
Holston has 4 little girls, Maddie Grace, Murray, Emma, and Pierce.

Anthony Cavalli-Singer
Guide
Anthony started hunting and fishing when he was ten years old with his grandfather and great uncle. At 18, he started as an apprentice guide for a waterfowl outfit just outside of the twin cities. This sparked his passion for sharing his excitement of hunting with others. This is when he got his first gun dog. After college he moved to Alabama to pursue gun dog training and guiding in the south. This is how he met Brandon, and got tied into Soggy Bottom, which down the road lead the the expansion of his kennel Blackbelt Retrievers Great Lakes located in Webster Wisconsin.
“I have a passion for taking people on their once in a lifetime hunting trip and providing great dog work. I hope to see you in the field!”
In the south I’ve noticed you have to choose between AU and UA football so I will give you a Roll Tide!
